Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Vacancy 2018:
Educational Qualification: (As on 01.08.2018)
(i) Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:
(a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
(b) Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
Note-I: During the period of probation direct recruits shall have to qualify the “Subordinate Audit Service Examination” in respective branches for confirmation and regular appointment as Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
(ii) Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
(iii) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Note: The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 01.08.2018.
SSC CGL Exam Center List:
Candidate’s Age Limit (For S No 1, 2, 4, , 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20 - Not exceeding 30 years), (For S No 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 18 - 20 to 30 Years), (For S No 8, 19 - 18 to 30 Years), (For S No 17, 22, 23 - Up to 30 years), (For S No 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33 - 18 - 27 years), (For S No 31 - 20 - 27 years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. For Group - B Posts - A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay: Rs. 5400, Rs. 4800, Rs. 4600 and Rs. 4200 in the scale of pay of Rs 9300 - 34800 in the Pay Band-2
For Group - C Posts - A Central Civil post carrying the following grade pay: Rs. 2800, Rs. 2400, Rs. 2000, Rs. 1900 and Rs. 1800 in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 in the Pay Band-1
